Equipment that outlasts the trend.

Detailing is the corner of car gear where the marketing runs furthest ahead of the evidence. Pressure washers are sold on a number the manufacturer supplies, polishers on a maximum speed nobody uses, and coatings on a durability figure measured by the company that wants the durability to be high. Where a real measurement exists we print it with the conditions attached. Where it does not, we say that instead of filling the gap.

Illustration, not evidence. Nobody has published a controlled measurement of how long a coating holds this — which is why the detailing pages judge equipment rather than results.
